Writing is often a solitary endeavor.  Most times it’s just me and my laptop.  Getting to meet readers and educators is the icing on the cake.  They help me see my novels with new eyes;  share the impact of my work on their lives in such profound ways that it sometimes leaves me breathless.  Spending time with them is one of the best parts about being an author.
