I loved this book when I was in middle school, and then one day I thought of it again, and decided to buy it. The stories are concise, but there’s just enough information that you feel like you’re in the character’s world. The settings do remind me of my hometown, so maybe that is why I feel more attached to it. I do think that this book should be read by those 13 and up, as the subjects can be mature (abuse, a character death, debating abortion, etc.), but there are no sex scenes.

Best book for teens to read especially dealing with relationships. I’m a secondary teacher who recommends it for any student 6th grade and up!
